China says ties "harmed" by Philippines UN decision call
China cautioned Tuesday that the Philippines has "genuinely harmed" reciprocal ties by asking the United Nations to administer in their support in an oceanic debate.
"What the Philippine side completed genuinely harmed reciprocal relations with China," Charge d'affaires Sun Xiangyang of the Chinese consulate in Manila said in an articulation.
"The demonstration of the Philippine side is against the global law and the chronicled truth and against profound quality and essential standards of worldwide relations," it said.
Hong additionally said that Philippine Ambassador to China Erlinda Basilio was summoned to hear China's solid disappointment and firm resistance to the discretion endeavor.
In the gathering, delegate outside clergyman Liu Zhenmin "asked the Philippine side to rectify oversights and come back to the right track," Hong said.
