DOTC over Cebu runway venture

Congressperson Sergio Osmeña III is situated to record a body of evidence against the Transportation Department even before it honors the Mactan Cebu Airport Project.

In a meeting on Inside Business, Osmeña asserted that the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) unlawfully waived a procurement.

He asserted that top bidder Megawide and its Indian accomplice GMR might have been disentitled if the DOTC had adhered to its clash of investment principles.

Megawide, GMR, and the DOTC have denied the affirmations. The honor of the agreement has been unduly postponed by unwarranted charges that we fail to offer the budgetary assets to embrace this real base undertaking," Megawide-GMR Consortium said in an explanation.
